Veloso

For a long time we have been rumoured to be interested in Miguel Veloso, a 23 year old Portuguese defensive midfielder. Veloso and his club Sporting always maintained that wanted to stay in Lisbon but things have gotten quiet around him.
Veloso was rumoured to be a +£20m target for us.

Anderson hasn’t been too terrific last season, potential is there but often his performance was below par and the question is if Owen Hargreaves will return and reach his peak again. Veloso would be a great reinforcement for the midfield and take work load away from Michael Carrick. And we have seen in the past that ManUtd CAN play with two defensive midfielders. Miguel Veloso What else could have happened during an international break, than new tranfer gossip around ManU. Especially now there is no malaise to report since ManU has shown the critics that we still can play our reknown and feared attractive, fast paced offensive game as shown against Wigan, last weekend.

Miguel Veloso, the newest starlet to be linked with ManU. Portuguese and player a tLisbon, Lisbon whom we bought both Ronaldo and Nani from. I that’s enough to feed the tabloids already.
Veloso is a remarkable talent, only 21 years young but even though he is young I can’t imagine SAF is interested in another youngster for our central defense, with the likes of O’Shea and Pique on our bench. Even though a pre-contract agreement is rumoured to exist. But this was denied today by Sporting.
